Working with The Company was a challenging and exciting experience, which undoubtedly improved my ability in Music Theatre. I can't wait to audition next year!

The whole experience Of 'The Rose and the Ring' was great - particularly the opportunity in the North of England to be part of a superb company of technicians, performers, musicians and creative team, all demonstrating what total commitment to a production is all about. Also, it was great fun!

The company music theatre is like one big theatrical family. Last summer was one of the most enjoyable summers I've had and the company played a big part in that. The staff are all fun, appoachable, hard-working, creative and kind. Every day during the process of staging 'The Rose and The Ring' was enjoyable and I've made many friends with the cast and crew. I also feel that I have developed my skills in singing dancing and acting. If you want a taste of making great theatre with true professionals I deffo recommend you audition for The Company Music Theatre.

From audition to performance I felt part of a team as even before the residentials we were all part of a facebook group and we could talk and get to know each other. I was quite nervous about going to Manchester as I'd only ever stayed away in London with a theatre company once before but Caroline, Lee, Dan and Damien made the stays fun and welcoming. We all had to work really, really hard but it made us focussed on what was expected both for the play and for later on in a possible theatre career. I made some amazing friends and we still all keep in touch. I also can't describe the feeling when we put on the shows and had such good reviews but I know for certain I'll be auditioning for the 2009 show!! So, for anyone thinking about it, AUDITION! If nothing else, you will have a fantastic time, learn new techniques and make some great friends.

"The company music theatre is such a wonderful experience. The whole two weeks were packed with singing, dancing and lots of laughing! While there I learnt loads about the industry."

'I have been in two of the Company performances and had just the best time ever.  It was really hard work, but you see how it pays off at the show.  It feels like a family and I feel a bit empty when I leave!'

The Company Music Theatre offers a really unique experience. Not only are all the practitioners absolutely fantastic at what they do, constantly challenging you throughout the rehearsal process and really working you hard, but all of them are great friends and this comes across so clearly and makes a huge difference to the process. You get the experience of being worked like professionals, by professionals, but who clearly enjoy it just as much as we do. The fact that they're all so close and work so well together is clear from the start and by the end of the process you can't help but feel like you're part of a really amazing group of people. Dan's arrangements are mind-blowingly effective, Lee's choreography is stunning (with his warmups certainly being the highlights of the rehearsals!) and Caroline's direction and attention to detail is unlike anything i've ever experienced. They all push us so hard and the results of this are clear when it comes to performance. Pastorally, Damien and his team make the time outside rehearsal so much fun, really going out of their way to ensure that we're all happy and keeping busy with various activities or bedtime stories! I'd definitely recommend The Company to anyone who wants to be involved in some youth music theatre that certainly doesn't feel like a youth theatre by the end of it!
