Chris trained at the Nesta Brooking School of Ballet and then went on to a very successful performing career in the West End, on tour and in regional repertory theatre. Choreography credits include Oklahoma!, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, South Pacific, Fiddler on the Roof (2 tours), Jekyll & Hyde and the current tour of Keeler. Schwartz Stories at The King’s Head; Club Tropicana, the 80s musical (which he co-wrote) at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Let him have Justice (Cochrane Theatre), The Girl in the Frame (Bridewell), Blood Drive (Bridewell), A Spoonful of Styles and Drewe (Her Majesty’s Theatre), Christmas in New York (Lyric Theatre, Shaftsbury Avenue), The Railway Children and Wind in the Willows (both Sevenoaks Playhouse). He has directed and choreographed numerous pantomimes throughout the UK. As a performer Chris appeared in many West End productions including Hello, Dolly! Chess, Hot Stuff, Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Barnum, On The Town, Carousel and The King & I.
Chris is Deputy Principal & Director of Musical Theatre and Acting at The Arts Educational Schools, London (ArtsEd). He has an MA in Choreography from Middlesex University. He holds a Fellowship of the British & International Federation of Festivals and is a member of All England Dance.
