Tessa Bartley has a degree in business management and a postgraduate certificate in corporate governance and business ethics. She works in Knowledge Management at Clifford Chance law firm.
Tessa’s musical experience is rich and varied. She studied music to A-level and has performed as a chorister in famous concert halls and beautiful churches around the world for more than 25 years. Since 2002, she has enjoyed being part of the world-renowned London Philharmonic Choir - not just as a soprano, but as a director and trustee. She currently works as Choir and Tours Manager, organising the logistics for the choir's concerts both in the UK and abroad - including Europe, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and many more places in between. She also serves as a company director of Southwark Cathedral Enterprises Limited.
When she is not otherwise engaged musically, Tessa fundraises and volunteers for The Nasio Trust, a charity which provides HIV-infected orphans and destitute children in Western Kenya with education, food and medical support. Such is her passion for Nasio's work that, in 2011, she pushed herself considerably out of her comfort zone to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and raise funds for the charity.
